After a modest 5 cm snowfall overnight, the sun was soon out again in Andermatt. We managed a few pistes in the morning and then headed off the back of the Gemsstock. The route took us up the Gafallenlucke, down a nice north facing powder field on the Schwartzwasserfirn, over the Gafallenstafel to the Vermigelhutte and then a skate/pole along the Unteralp back to Andermatt.
